Juxtaposition of artworks and artifacts as curatorial strategy

Museum of Capitalism exhibitions dynamically juxtaposed artist’s works with artifacts of capitalism, adding a feeling of defamiliarization to the exhibition experience. Often these artifacts were contributed by artists, ordinary people, and visitors, who thereby became participants in the project and part of the network of relationships whose care we consider equally to collections of objects, as part of our duty as curators and managers of an exhibition framework.
